For those of you interested and are wanting to go watch Jackson run at State on Saturday, the race will be at St. Olaf College in Northfield, and Jackson will be running at 11:00am. Also, there is construction along I35, which is the main way to get there, with only one lane being open for a large portion of it (south of Lakeville). So, give yourself plenty of time and look at alternate routes to get there.
Thanks and any questions, please let me know
Denny
Information about the CRHS CC Running team (Gr 7-12) is found here. If you are new to our program, check out the information in the pull downs of the blog for more information about who we are. The posts will be about what is currently happening. For those that are considering joining our teams, our summer training is a great place to see what the sport is all about. No cost or full commitment to the team. All we ask is to give it an honest try to see if this is the sport and team for you.

Section Results
Results for yesterday's Section 5AA Meet can be found at the following web page: www.mtecresults.com
Also, you can find many pictures taken by Barb Sabatke at: https://picasaweb.google.com/109948595371131403479
As for yesterday, the boys put forth their best effort of the season at the right meet and 22 of the 29 that ran, had personal bests!! It shows the type of work that they have put in over the past couple of weeks, and months for that matter, and what they are capable of.
Congratulations to Jackson Bednar as he finished 6th overall and qualified for the State Meet next Saturday at St Olaf College in Northfield. He will be running at 11:00am on the 2nd of November. Also, Jackson has moved up to the number 7 spot in all time runners at Coon Rapids!!
We lose a lot of Seniors this year, so a lot of openings for Varsity are available. We are hoping that the boys can build off of what they finished with and aim towards building for a better next year. As for those Seniors, we wish them all the best throughout the rest of the school year and all the best as they move forward in their lives. Keep running gentlemen, and always have fun with it!!
Thanks for everything, and I will be posting information about the banquet in another blog in a little while.

Here is who will be running in which race and what time the Varsity and JV will be raced at. Please remember the no pet/dog rule. Also, there will be plenty of parking, you may have to walk a little bit, but school will be getting out at Anoka at 2:20, so there will be a lot of traffic up to about 3:00. There is also a lot of construction happening on 7th Ave, especially north of the High School, so please be aware of the possibilities of delays.

Section Meet
This is the week of the Section Meet. The meet will be on Thursday at Anoka High School. The Girls will be running first and our Varsity Boys will be running at 4:00 with the JV Boys following at 4:30. Parking will not be an issue, but they are saying that dogs will not be allowed, so if you look to bring your dog along, please do not. Reasoning is, is that they don't want a dog getting lose and possibly interfering with one of the races.
How qualifying works for the State Meet, is the top two teams in the Varsity race, and then the next top 8 individuals who are not apart of those two teams. The State Meet will be on Saturday, Nov. 2 at St Olaf College in Northfield.
For those who do not qualify for the State Meet, we will have practice on Friday, to do a survey the school district would like all athletes to take, and do our team voting, as well as one final team workout. For those that do qualify, practice will still be as scheduled up to the day of the State Meet.
The end of season banquet will be on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6:30pm at the High School Cafeteria. This will be a pot luck event, with more information to be sent home and posted at the end of the week.
If you have any questions about any of this, please let me know,
Thanks
