On August 1st, we will be working at the TPC Golf Course in Blaine to help with a tournament that will be going on that week, as a fundraiser. We will be in need of 12 people, runners or parents, to volunteer from 8:00-3:00 helping with the catering company that will be working the tournament. If we can get more than that, then we can possibly divide you up in two groups. But, for now, lets focus on getting 12. Please let me know if you would like to help.
Lastly, the Deer Chase 5K is on July 19th, starting at 9:00am at the Bunker Skijor Trails off of Hanson Blvd, also know as the Dog Park. We will need a few people to help with registration and other items, but we are also looking for people to participate. This is a low key event that will also have a 1K(ish) race for younger kids as well. We try to have fun with this event, even though it is on a more challenging course. If you would like to help, please let me know. If you would like to participate, registration can be found at raceberryjam.com under Road Races, or you can register before the race.
