Thank you to all of you that helped and participated in tonight's Cardinal Mile! It was a very positive start to something that we hope will be a big part of the Homecoming festivities and a positive in building our programs! Thanks again!!
Denny
Information about the CRHS CC Running team (Gr 7-12) is found here. If you are new to our program, check out the information in the pull downs of the blog for more information about who we are. The posts will be about what is currently happening. For those that are considering joining our teams, our summer training is a great place to see what the sport is all about. No cost or full commitment to the team. All we ask is to give it an honest try to see if this is the sport and team for you.

Milaca Results
Sorry I didn't get this out sooner, but you can find results for Saturday's race at: www.raceberryjam.com
We were in the 9th grade boys, the JV boys, and AAAA Varsity boys.
Information about Friday/Saturday will come out on Thursday.
Also, for those of you that are able to help with the Cardinal Mile tomorrow, if you could meet in front of the Stadium at about 4:15 that would be appreciated. If you are not able to be there by then, please let me know so I can plan accordingly.
Thanks and any questions, please let me know,
Denny

Milaca Mega Meet
Below is the information for the Milaca Mega Meet that is on Saturday. (This is coming off of the information they are giving to us) There will be lots of races, but the only ones that we are apart of will be the 9th Grade race, AAAA Varstiy, and the JV races. Sophomore and Under Results
http://m1.onlineraceresults.com/event/view_event.php?event_id=11849
The above is a link to the results for yesterday's Sophomore and Under Meet. Once on, off to the right is the separate races, and click on the ones you want.
But, it was a positive day in which we got to work with and see some of the Middle School runners that may run for us in the future.
Congrats to Paul for winning the 7th/8th grade mile and Nathan for his solid 4th place finish in the 9th/10th grade 2 mile. We worked on some different aspects of our races, so it was fun to watch them work at those and still do well.
Information about the Milaca Mega Meet on Saturday will be posted on Thursday.
Thanks
Denny

Lakeville/10th & Under
Results for Friday's Lakeville Applejack Invite can be found at:
raceberryjam.com
It was a positive day in many aspects, despite not finishing as a team where we would have liked for both the Varsity and JV races. But, every single person improved/ran faster than they had the week before and everyone of them felt better despite knowing they could have done better. Congrats to Paul B for winning the JV race and the the Freshmen for finishing in 4th place as a team, 2 points out of 3rd, and having the top 6 boys all within a minute of each other!
Next up is the Pirate Sophomore and Under Meet at Central Park in Brooklyn Park. Here are directions:
Hwy 252 across the Hwy 610 bridge, turn west (right) at 85th Ave. Take a left onto Regent Ave, and go south. The park is on your immediate left. Some parking is available at the park on the street or another further south of the park.
This will be just for the 10th grade and under runners, but our Seniors and Juniors will be there as well to do a workout and support. The race times are:
7th/8th Grade (1 mile) - 4:35
9th/10th Grade (2 mile) - 5:20
Any questions, please let me know,
Thanks

Lakeville Invite
Here are directions to Friday's Meet at Lakeville as well as start times and who is racing in which race. If you have any questions, please let me know. Also, there may be some construction near the race location (it is supposed to be done), so you may need to give yourself some extra time to get there.
Take
35W south to Interstate 35 in Burnsville. Keep going south to Lakeville area, and exit
on Hwy 50 (to the right and then left under the bridge.) Follow Hwy 50 about 4.5 miles past 2 schools
(Kenwood Jr. High and LNHS). Keep going
past McDonald’s and to a four way stop sign after a stop light. Continue going straight (50 turns to the
right) to
Arnonson Park, which will be located on the right. Follow signs on where to park. There will be a lot of people, so plan accordingly, and car pool if possible.

Monticello Results
http://www.gopherstateevents.com/results/cc_rslts/cc_rslts.asp?meet_id=166
The above is where results from yesterday's Monticello Invite can be found. If you are wanting to see specific races, go to Select a Race, and select on which one you are interested in.
As for the race itself, it was a learning experience. Some positives but also some things to continue working on. Weather has not been very helpful in getting in quality runs without frying ourselves, but hopefully we can find a way to work through that and get stronger.
Next up will be the Lakeville AppleJack Invite next Friday. This will have some of the better teams and individuals in the State competing, so it will be a nice challenge for us.
Thanks
Denny
