Our team results are now posted for yesterdays Milaca Mega Meet. You can find the meet results on raceberryjam.com. The races that we were involved in were the 7th Grade, 10th Grade, JV, and AAAA Varsity races. The easiest way to get there would be to click on Raceberry Jam above.
Some positives took place but it was a difficult day with the number of individuals that were in each race. This will be the most racers in an event that our runners will have to go against, except for the Varsity team at next Saturday's Griak Invite. Speaking of Griak, the individuals who will be running in this race will be announced on Tuesday. Those who do not run on Saturday will be racing on Friday at the Mustang Invite.
But, on the overall, it was not a bad day for the team, just not as much improvement as the boys would have liked, but it is still early and we still have a lot of work to do. Keeping the boys positive will be a big step and one we will continue to improve on.
A reminder that Wednesday of this week is the Cardinal Mile, and that we will need help from a few parents to make this event work. The boys will all be running in the event, hopefully with one or more elementary students. Also, if any of you would like to be in the event yourself, you are more than welcomed. Registration forms will be available at the track, with registration opening at about 4:30 and the race starting at 5:50. This is a fundraiser for us, so help spread the word. This will also be right before the Homecoming Parade on the parade course.
Lastly, Friday will also be the Homecoming Football run. The Varsity team will be doing a relay from Park Center High School, with the remainder of the team joining after the Mustang Invite.
