Mustang/Griak Invite

Good Morning, 
Below is information about the Mustang Invite on Friday as well as the Griak Invite on Saturday. It is going to be a busy weekend for us, but should be fun as well.  For those that are running on Saturday, they will not be going to the Mustang Invite, but those that are running on Friday are invited to come on Saturday to watch and support at the Griak Invite.  The bus on Saturday will be leaving at 11:30.  

Mustang Invite:

Mustang Invite (Chippewa Middle School): 5000 Hodgson Rd.  Take US Hwy 10 East to I35W South, then merge back onto US Hwy 10.  Take a left onto Hwy 96 and follow to Hodgson Rd.  Take a left onto Hodgson Rd and school will be on right about a mile up the road.

SPECTATOR Parking -  Chippewa will be off limits until after 3PM.

·       Hope Christian Church -- Teams and families can also park across the street west from the school and cross the street at the intersection with control lights in the designated walk lanes.

·       Chippewa Middle School -- Due to school dismissal (2:45PM) and their buses departing, law enforcement will send early arriving spectators to Hope Church across the street from the meet.  After 2:55PM, law enforcement will permit spectator parking at Chippewa Middle School.

3:30pm    Gold Race- Girls                    Girls Team Race 4,000 meters     (top 7 entries)

3:55pm    Gold Race- Boys                   Boys Team Race 5,000 meters   (top 7 entries)

4:25pm    JH/MS Grade Race- Girls       Team and Open Girls Race  2,000 meters  (Unlimited entries)

4:40pm    JH/MS Grade Race - Boys      Team and Open Boys Race  2,500 meters  (Unlimited entries)

4:55pm    Green Race- Girls                  Open Junior Varsity Girls Race   4,000 meters    (Unlimited entries)

5:20pm    Green Race- Boys                  Open Junior Varsity Boys Race   5,000 meters    (Unlimited entries)

When we get done with the Green race, we will be leaving and heading back to connect up with the Varsity team, which will be running the game ball back to the High School from Park Center High School before the football game.

Griak Invite:

Roy Griak Invitational: U of M Golf Course. Take 35W South to Cleveland Avenue South to West Larpenteur. Turn right and follow for a ½ mile on Larpenteur and you will see the Driving Range and Golf Course on the right.

Admission Fee	The University will be charging $8 entry fee for adults and $5 for students/youth/seniors (62 & above).  Kids age 2 & under are free. The official Griak Invitational program can be purchased for $2.
Spectator Parking	S101 (on the corner of Cleveland and Commonwealth) and the Gortner Ave. Ramp.  Shuttles will transport to the golf course.  Park at your own risk on the city streets.
