Tomorrow evening, Tuesday Aug 23rd, a tradition will be renewed for the Girls team, as the popular Bike and Run will happen, starting and finishing at Anoka Ramsey Community College, with the event beginning at 6:00pm on an out and back 3 mile course that will be heading towards, but not getting to, the CR Dam.
The Girls are pairing themselves up, will do some sort of similar costume, and then one partner will ride a bike for one mile while the other partner runs that mile. They will then switch and continue this process every mile for a total of 6 miles. In a way the partners will be racing each other, as the one biking will not wait at the next mile marker for the runner, they will just start running, and the incoming runner will pick up the bike for their portion. The Girls have always had lots of fun with this event, and we are glad to have the event this year!
This will be only for the Girls team, the Boys will be practicing at 7:00pm as usual. If there are any questions, please let me know,
