Time Trial Results, Info for Next Couple of Days

Results from this mornings Time Trial are now posted on the right side of the blog under Results.  It was a solid start for their racing on a challenging course.  It's a great course for spectators to see the runners in multiple spots, which is a big reason we have it there, but it is a course that the runners have to put in some effort on and an make the next race and race course seem easier.  There were many positives and even a few surprises, but there is a lot of work to do, and this is just one small step to us getting through the season.  Thanks to the parents that were able to make it this morning.  It is looking like we made the right decision to go this morning!!

As for the next couple of days, with the incoming weather, we will keep an eye on things for the morning practice for Friday, and will make a decision by 7:00am on Friday as to what we will do.  If I don't post anything, then we are having practice as scheduled.  The team bonding activity is still a go, and then bus will be leaving from the front of the high school at 2:45.  If you have not paid the $30, please bring with and I will take any payments when we get on the bus.  Saturday still is good to go as well, but we will also look at the weather as we get closer.  Remember with Saturday that we will be meeting at Elm Creek, near the playground, so carpooling will be a good idea, especially for those that haven't been there in the past.
